The Celestine Vision

Its been a productive week. Still no cokes and still losing weight.

Just finished reading James Redfield’s, The Celestine Vision, its a good read. Ask Mike and he will tell you unless it has Marcinko as the author, I never read for pleasure. This wasn’t so much for pleasure but for a refocusing/retuning, which I ever needed so badly as I’ve been a bit lost in some areas. The book has given me more direction and focus than I’ve had in years. Mind you I did read another one of his books about 6 or 7 years ago while getting my masters degree, it gave me a lot of insight and direction then - so it was refreshing to read a “newer” work and have a new sense of enlightenment. The book isn’t for everyone but it worked well for me. 20:00 hrs WNZT 398 Operator 23

Cripple Karate

Mr. Gray just gave me a wonderful idea in an email in which we were brainstorming about possible professional development classes I could create and teach.

After I finish my EdD, I should write a self-defense book for disabled people. One that starts off speaking about how to use your whit and verbal skills to get you out of a situation. The later half of the book could consist of what to do if the verbal stuff fails - e.g.; a cane to the head, a wheelchair wheel arm lock, etc. I’d call this book “Cripple Karate” and it would be a huge hit and I’d have a market considering there are 40 millions Americans with a major disabiltiy.
